AmeriCorps Programs

Through a collaboration with The Corps Network and Volunteer Florida, CTW’s operates its AmeriCorps programs.  All participants will have the opportunity to join an AmeriCorps program within CTW if there is an opening.  The programs are for specific terms such as 300, 450, 675, 900 1200 and 1700 hour terms.  If eligible, each participant joining one of CTW’s AmeriCorps programs will receive a Segal Education Award upon successful completion.  The amounts of the awards vary depending upon the term enrolled for and the year joining but, in general, range from $1100 (for a 300 hour part time term)  to $12,200 (for a 1700 hour full time term).  And each participant can earn up to 4 part time or 2 full time terms or an equivalent of 3400 hours during their tenure with CTW. There are many other benefits afforded to AmeriCorps members as well.  After joining CTW, eligibility for AmeriCorps will be determined and reviewed with the participant.
