Young American Conservation Corps (YACC)

CTW’s partnerships with land managing agencies allows our program participants to work on project improving public lands.  In 2013, CTW expanded is services and service area from Florida to the southeast region.  Participants are able to work within America’s great outdoors and expand their horizons.  Through partnerships with US Forest Service, National Parks, US Fish and Wildlife, Environmental Protection Agency and other foundations and grants, participants have worked in a crew based setting or single placements.  Services performed for our partners include much needed backlog maintenance such as trail building, reroutes and maintenance, recreation site maintenance, mowing, weed eating, tree removal, clearing roads, facilities maintenance, debris removal, trash removal.  Several areas include historic or national sites and sensitive archeological site.
